Tri-Stake YSA Activity

Water Tuesday

LAKE MARY-- Every Tuesday this summer (unless otherwise announced) is Water Tuesday!  This event allows young adults to take a mid-week break and cool off at Upper Lake Mary starting at 6pm.  Carpooling is available and we ask that you meet at 5:30pm at the Welcome Center.  Be sure to park on Lake Mary Road near the first ramada and not in the parking lot below.

Activities planned for the lake include: horseshoes, frisbee, canoeing, and swimming.  Food is also provided.

End of School Water Fight

WELCOME CENTER-- A handful of the remaining Institute students gathered for a celebration as they chucked water balloons in a "dodgeball" themed game on the backyard grass.  Though a little chilly, from a common weather change here in Flagstaff, and smokey, from the nearby forest fire, the participants were not deterred from encouraging summer to come quickly.  This is just the first of many summer activities.

1st Ever Welcome Center EXPO!

The First Welcome Center EXPO was Spectacular!  

Over 250 single adults came and enjoyed the pizza, games, fire pit, and learned more about all that happens here at the Welcome Center!

In the gym our many activities were showcased:  Crafts, Sports, Hiking, Institute Classes (Christian studies) Dances  - all to build friendships and faith in Christ in a spontaneous, relaxed atmosphere. 

Lining the walls were posters that highlighted some of the students individuality and their own story of how the Gospel of Jesus Christ has blessed and changed their lives.

Out back we had a fire pit and 'smores and conversation in abundance.  Inside the were the games of friendly competition.   

Questions of the soul were answered by our hard working Sister Missionaries, who are available throughout the day to anyone who wants to come closer to Jesus Christ.

GIANT JENGA

Last Friday Activity Night (FAN) we got together for some Giant Jenga! After a few rounds and some banana splits and pizza, we all went home happy and full.

FAN is a weekly event that is sponsored by the LDSSA and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  It is always, free, fun, and everyone is welcome!
